  1. TITLE: 941123 INSTALLING WARP ON A SYSTEM WITH CDROM (TOSHIBA)

  5. DESCRIPTION OF SYMPTOMS:
  6.     Red screen on DISK #1, message no cdrom device support found.
  7.  
  8. RESOLUTION:
  9.     Under the Adaptec setting option (Ctrl+A), disable the FAST
  10.     SCSI and Synchronize option.
  11.     This will enabled OS/2 WARP install DISK #1 to recognize the
  12.     cdrom.
  13.     Note: The system has also a SoundBlaster card, but the
  14.     cdrom (Toshiba) is connected to the Adaptec 1542C SCSI
  15.     controller.
